I completely severed my left quadriceps in a fall and needed emergency surgery. Dr. Suzanne Miller took me on and was incredibly thorough from the start—she explained all the potential outcomes, emphasized how intense the recovery would be, and made it clear that physical therapy and consistent effort would be essential for about a year. I’m now halfway through the process, with nearly full range of motion and, thankfully, very little pain.
What I appreciated most is that she never sugarcoated anything about the injury or the procedure. She was always honest, yet upbeat and compassionate, and her entire staff has been just as supportive. Honestly, if it weren’t for the pain early on, you’d think she photoshopped my scar—it’s that clean and precise.
This was my fourth surgery at Boston Bone and Joint, and Dr. Miller’s care has only deepened the trust I have in this outstanding team of doctors.
